Renewable Sources of Energy Automation Products
 PLC FOR PV TRACKER SUN TRACKING SYSTEM
- PLC Sun-Tracking system for single axis PV trackers with worm or rotary motor
- PLC Sun-Tracking system for double axis PV Trackers with dual worm, dual rotary or worm zenith and rotary azimuth axis.
The system is based on the Siemens PLC S7-200 series and consists of a main PLC unit, which tracks the motion of the sun and controls the whole system as well as time changing, leap years etc, and electrical parts that drive the motors of the tracker.
The system has been installed and successfully operates in a satisfactory number of solar parks since last year and is fully reliable.
We can manage up to 50 single axis or 25 double axis tracker with one PLC.
We can send you a system ready to install or we can undertake installation and set it up for you.
We can provide you with a contract guaranteeing maintenance and remote surveillance. Paging warning messages right to your mobile in case of error is one service among many others. We provide customized solutions according to your particular needs, upon request.
The automation is set around the PLC according to the motor and the feedback sensor that is used in each park. The end product is send or installed by our technicians at the site. Furthermore, the system is connected to a wind velocity sensor, in order for the panels to be protected in case of storm.
The system operates by sending separate commands to each motor and each tracker, while reads the pulses from the feedback sensor to determine the tracker’s position.
The system is connected to an indoor or outdoor pillar and operates with option modules such as voltage/current surveillance module, motor thermal protection module, option for group motion with inverters, as well as connection with meteo station, alarm module and web server.
